Dev update - Godot migration


Hey everyone!

It’s been a while, but we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes! Here’s a detailed dev-update on our progress since transitioning to Godot:

What We’ve Accomplished:

  • Tools: Developed two external tools in Godot for dialogues and quests.
  • Maps: Reimagined maps and started creating all the tiles and objects.
  • Systems Completed:
    • Dialogue system
    • Quest system
    • Scene management
    • NPC base with random animations and interactables
    • The long-awaited sitting mechanic
    • Some shaders (water movement and color adjustments mostly)

Currently in Progress:

  • Inventory system

What’s Next:

  • Sound system
  • Shooting system
