Devlog: Visual Refinement, Replay Features, and Internationalization
Hey everyone!
We’ve been working hard and wanted to share some recent updates from development.
All will be included in the next demo release!
Here’s what’s new:
UI Rework – Starting with Dialogue
We’ve begun reworking the user interface, starting with the dialogue UI. This update also introduces two visual themes: one for dark areas and another for light areas, so the UI better blends with each environment's atmosphere.
New Portraits, Starting with the MC
We’re redoing all the character portraits! The main character’s portrait has been updated as the first step, with more to follow soon.
Village House Makeover
The village houses have been replaced to better match the new art direction. It's a small change with a big visual impact!
Cutscene Skipping
Replay sessions just got easier - you can now skip cutscenes! Perfect for those who want to revisit the game without rewatching story moments they already saw.
Walkable Plants (with Squish!)
We heard your feedback, small plants with a collider are annoying! So from now on - small plants are now walk-throughable, and come with a satisfying squish animation (and soon enough a sound effect as well). It’s a tiny detail, but we think it adds a lot of charm.
Internationalization in Progress
We’ve started working on an internationalization system, so we can eventually support multiple languages and reach players around the world.
Don't forget to wishlist the game on Steam!
Thanks for all your support! Until next time~
